Question for July, 2019

What is the most helpful question I can ask myself for my own development?

Mark W - Brisbane, Australia

Modo's Answer

There are all sorts of helpful questions you can ask yourself depending on your current circumstances. The most helpful questions are usually the most timely, specific, and relevant to your situation.

I find the question that I ask myself and others the most is... "What do you want?" If you want to step into the next level of your development, this is a helpful question because the answer "I want..." presupposes that you don't yet have it. So there is a gap between where you are and where you want to be. To close this gap, you must ask a series of other questions, however, asking yourself "What do I want" informs you of the next helpful question to close the gap. This is why it is one of my favourite questions to ask.
