So, what is Executive Coaching?
Executive coaching is a ruthlessly compassionate conversation that gets to the heart of the matter for the executive or leader; to identify and mobilise their inner and outer resources for generative and sustainable change. An executive coaching conversation develops, unleashes, and actualises the executive or leader’s highest potentials so they can step into peak performance.
Why choose Executive Coaching?
The world’s best performing people in their chosen fields, across many diverse disciplines, hire skilled coaches to improve their overall performance. They do this because they know that having a skilled coach in their corner, to challenge their status quo, is what propels them to reach even greater potentials.
Executives who engage in coaching often report that coaching has provided them with new and broader perspectives, a deeper self-awareness, more effective communication, and greater performance. If you would like to close the gap between where you are now and where you want to be, then executive coaching may be for you.
JOHN WOODEN
A good coach can change the game,
a great coach can change a life.
Who needs an Executive Coach?
So, who needs an executive coach? If everybody’s doing it, shouldn’t you do it too? Our answer is NO, not necessarily. Here are some questions to consider when seeking an executive coach for yourself or your organisation…
How valuable is this person to the success of the business?
Is this person's performance and potential, driving the success of your organisation? Or do you think this leader will drive the success of the organisation in the long run? If the answer is yes, then executive coaching could be a good fit.
What challenge is the executive or leader experiencing right now?
People, relationships, communication, and behaviour change are what our coaches know best. If your executives are struggling with managing themselves, or if they're struggling to engage others in the workplace. Then you have just found the perfect conditions for coaching.
How wiling is the executive to work with a coach?
Willingness is the key to success in coaching. The executive or leader must be willing to engage in the process of coaching, and be willing to change, if change is what’s required. Otherwise, executive coaching may not achieve your desired outcomes.

Coaching Topics
No topic is off the table when someone engages in executive coaching. This is because you cannot separate the person from the role. Both person and role are interconnected and influence each other in many ways. Executive coaching is about facilitating peak performance, so whatever is getting in the way of an executive stepping into their highest and best is a coachable topic.

Coaching is gaining popularity, and is highly sought after by executives, but many people still aren't sure whether coaching is right for them. So here we hope to answer some of the questions you might have about coaching.
This session is offered as an online coaching session. If after your first session you decide to continue coaching with us, we can offer face-to-face coaching in Albury, NSW. That you have never experienced executive coaching before is actually exciting news! It means that you're stepping into something new, and from this point, change can take place. Coaching can feel like an unfamiliar process the first couple of times, but believe it or not, that's a great thing. In order to impact change in the area that is the key to your development, we need to do something you've never done - have a conversation like no other that will challenge your status quo.
Your Modo Executive Coach is there to support you through this process, no need to worry, you'll get the hang of it in no time! Once you book your appointment, your coach will send you instructions on how to prepare for your first session. Hint: you can also find further reading on our blog here.
We've noticed that people who are new to executive coaching aren't quite sure what to expect and we know that it's hard to make a commitment to a program if you don't know what you're signing up for. So, we want you to experience coaching for yourself, so that you can decide if coaching is right for you.
As coaches, we also like these introductory sessions, as they allow us to see if we're a good fit for one another, coach to coachee. If for some reason we don't think we're a good fit, we will do our best to recommend you to someone who might be.
If you decide you would like to continue executive coaching with us after your initial session, then you can discuss with your coach a program that is right for you. To give you an idea, our coaching programs can include multiple sessions of around 6 to 12 sessions per cycle. These hour-long sessions are usually conducted every 2 to 4 weeks. Once you've completed a cycle you can then check in with your coach on an individual session by session basis. Every executive and leader is different and wants different things, so you can co-create a program that is tailored to you achieving your specific outcomes.

Really enjoyed my experience with Modo! It was the first time I had engaged with coaching and I really valued the insightfulness of the questions asked in each session. The sessions have really tested me and made me reflect deeper, empowering me to view things differently and interact with my colleagues and those in my life with greater awareness. The follow-up after each session and fluidity between sessions was also deeply appreciated.
